Igniting Change Together

Waxen Flame LLC is a strategy and facilitation studio rooted in Mendocino County, California. We work alongside grassroots nonprofits, Indigenous-led initiatives, and community-based organizations to co-create the structure, strategy, and storytelling they need to move forward with purpose and power.

Born from a deep connection to land, people, and the living networks that sustain us, our mission is to empower those doing the deep work—building climate resilience, tending cultural memory, advancing mutual aid, and protecting land and people. We answer the urgent call for support by weaving together tools, resources, and collaborative guidance that help changemakers overcome barriers, bridge structural gaps, and secure funding for transformative ecological and cultural restoration.

Whether guiding a funding roadmap, facilitating cross-sector alignment, or shaping a narrative that resonates with both community and grant~makers, we bring clarity, collaboration, and care to every step.

Inspired by natural systems and the wisdom of mutual aid, we nurture the conditions for collective action, local leadership, and lasting impact.
